Today WAAV proudly announces a new addition to its AirBox cellular router lineup, the AirBox GX. The AirBox GX accommodates five cellular WAN connections and two dual-band WiFi radios in an industrialized hardened aluminum case. The cellular WANs can be bonded together into one broadband link using WAAV's patented cellular bonding technology.

The AirBox GX is an enterprise-class router providing broadband Internet connectivity over multiple cellular networks. Designed to serve as a remote network gateway, the AirBox connects IP-based network devices such as tablets, laptops, video cameras, DVRs, and M2M hardware. The dual-band, dual-concurrent WiFi is best-in-class and can be configured as a private network, WiFi hotspot deployment, or both. The AirBox offers multiple gigabit Ethernet ports for both WAN and LAN cabled connections. This system provides the best in-vehicle connectivity for fleet applications or the most bandwidth for a remote office or failover solution.

The AirBox GX provides superior power conditioning in addition to a wide range of onboard sensors and interfaces; these include a built-in accelerometer, temperature connector, onboard storage, three locking USB ports, two serial ports, RS-485, and GPIOs with A/Ds. The superior functionality and flexibility of the AirBox is complemented by maximum connectivity and device reliability. The patented AirBox GX cellular router integrates multiple cellular network connections for additional bandwidth, redundancy, and coverage area. The WAAV OS continuously monitors each connection and intelligently handles bonding, load balancing, and connection failover, providing the finest cellular broadband experience available.
